AASU regrets to announce the passing of its president

The All-Africa Students Union (AASU) regrets to announce the passing of its President, Varney Alieu Jarsey.
President Jarsey served the Union with distinction and dedication. His tireless commitment to advancing the rights, welfare, and voice of Africa’s students will be remembered with deep respect and admiration across the Continent and beyond.
This loss is deeply felt by the AASU family, our member unions, partners, and the African student community that he so passionately represented.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
